I love Niagara for its pace, the people, the boats on the canal, fields and fields of vines, and peaches, ancient wood lots, the big Sky and honest living.

Favourite Real Estate memory:
Thirteen years ago I represented clients who were selling a small residential lot.
The offer given us had almost too many clauses. Something just didn’t feel right about it and I asked my clients for some time to read it thoroughly.
I found a clause in there where the word ‘at’ had been replaced with ‘in’.
This may seem insignificant, but in this case it made all the difference because it actually changed the meaning of the clause.
If my clients would have signed, they would have been at risk of paying a development fee of $20,000.
My sellers were thrilled that I had prevented this from happening!
It also made me very aware of how important it is to make sure you check every word in legal documents.
