Each year, she hosts an annual cupcake fundraiser for the local Humane Society and participates in events like the NHL Benefit Tour for Help a Child Smile, the Mud Girl Run for women’s cancer research, and the Great Cycle Challenge and Foam Fest in support of SickKids Foundation.

Outside of work, Jen is a team sports enthusiast and a big fan of staying active. You’ll often find her playing ball hockey, exploring Niagara’s trails on foot or bike, rollerblading along the canal, or skating at one of the region’s many rinks. She also cherishes time with her family, and her lovable crew of rescue cats.

We met Jen several months prior to our finally finding the house that we were looking for. Make no mistake, Jen’s work was cut out for her! We had a very long list of boxes that we wanted/needed to be checked off if we were going to be able to consider a house. When we met Jen at an open house, we had not yet put our long time family home on the market in Hamilton. We were in the midst of preparing it for sale … heart wrenching for me, but we were about to retire and needed to downsize.

I really didn’t feel that we would be able to find a home that would fit all our demands AND a pool … but Jen never gave up on my little dream … she of course advised us to look at all possibilities with or without the pool, which we appreciated as anyone who has purchased a home knows that one must be flexible and consider all options and be open minded yet firm in your expectations.

Jen was ever so patient with our search. As it turned out, our house in Hamilton due to its uniqueness took quite a while to sell, and in that time period Fred and I changed our search criteria a few times in terms of area. One would think that would test Jen’s patience ... but no! She took it in her stride and kept the search going. At that point we were feeling very appreciative of the time she had thus far spent with us. We do believe truly that she had gone above and beyond the call of duty when it came to her time that she so graciously gave us. We are very aware that we are probably her longest searching clients!

In the end, we are SO very pleased with the house we finally found! It checks off ALL the boxes! (My husband is now going to be my new pool boy!)

There are no words that would suffice to thank Jen for all the time and hard work she put into our house search. Moving from one city to another that you are not familiar with is rather overwhelming and you worry about whether you are making the right decision.
